February 15, 2008, Newsletter Issue #83: Good Blogs Create Communities

Tip of the Week

If you haven't spent much time reading business blogs before, it's worth spending a few hours poking around to find one that has enough solid information to become one of your trusted business resources. And remember that a good blog is more than the writer. Bloggers often allow user comments to be posted below the entries, which can lead to lively and useful exchanges of information. So when you find a blog that looks like it might be helpful, make sure to bookmark it or sign up for an RSS feed to give it a regular read for a few days. If you see that a virtual community has developed around the blog, it's almost definitely going to be a worthwhile business resource.
